Satisfy your thirst for adventure. With its lightweight alloy frame, sporty riding position and wide-range gearing, Catalyst lets you confidently ride any trail. The strong aluminum frame offers precise handling and a nimble ride that eats up singletrack and moves around town equally well. 27.5-inch aluminum rims paired with Innova tires roll quickly and smoothly. The Shimano drivetrain provides 27 smooth-shifting speeds to conquer flats and hills, and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes bring things to a stop right when you need them. On top of that, sturdy-yet-lightweight handlebars, stem, and saddle from Cannondale offer a comfortable riding position for exploring the world outside.

Comments:
Great bike for casual trail riding and city riding. Its a little on the heavy side but doesn't feel like it when your riding. Amazing Hydraulic Brakes. Shifts a little roughly sometimes but all in all very good bang for your buck.

Comments:
Good starter bike to get into the sport. Definitely glad I got the M as I was back and forth between the L. If I were going to bike 30 miles for my leisure, I would have went L or a different bike. This fits my style of riding through the woods and trails. I also have a BMX and motorcross background.. I like the feel of whipping the bike around through the trails and it handling it well.

Comments:
This bike is very durable, fast, maneuverable, comfortable....for the money its a 2k bike for almost 500 w/tax....that's a great deal...one issue is the bike is a little heavy but only for lifting into a car .....its a very fast bike for such big tires...I love this bike...never thought I would be happy about someone stealing my Cannonade but I got a great upgrade because of it!!!
